Intimate Italian Wedding in Gallipoli
Steve & Keshia are two talented wedding photographers from Australia who celebrated their intimate Italian wedding in Gallipoli. Gallipoli is a beautiful historical coastal town located in Southern Italy. It provided the perfect backdrop and environment for this small and intimate gathering. I felt very honoured to have had the invite from them to document their special day. When I first met Steve and Keshias, it became very apparent that they had a very tight knit family dynamic and would include their children in their nuptials. They had chosen a 16th century castle called Castello di Caprarica in Tricase for the whole family to stay and to host their wedding reception at. They had their ceremony at the beautiful castle in Gallipoli. It was clear from the very beginning of the day, family was an intergral part of their lives, from Keshia’s sister making her wedding dress, to the breastfeeding mid ceremony. Capturing this family element was something that I cherish and reaffirms why I love documenting stories like this time and time again. It felt special to be included in this day.
