Emma and Matt chose to have a Tuscan Castle Wedding in a small town called Fiesole, which is a beautiful ancient town, nestled on a hillside, just outside of Florence. We headed out the day before their celebration for a portrait session around the village. It was great getting to know both Emma and Matt on a personal level before their big day. They chose the stunning venue, Castello Di Vincigliata, which has a natural and historic beauty to it. This appealed to them because it wouldn’t require much decor which in turn, allowed the focus to remain on the celebration with their friends and family. Under the Tuscan sun, Emma’s oldest school friend led the ceremony. Becoming an important part in Emma and Matt’s life, when they heard the words on the day, it made it that much more special to them. Their wedding was a true reflection of them as a couple, personal and thoughtful, with many laughs in between. From the day before, hosting a pizza party for their guests in order for everyone to get to know each other better, to having their closest friends lead their ceremony. It was a beautiful day to be a part of, and I am so happy to have been able to join them in the beginning of their new chapter.
