Scotland is one of those places that you can return to over and over again and it’s beauty amazes you every time. With every opportunity that I am given to return to such place, it is always met with happiness. Jack and Jade reached out to me to photograph their Scottish Highlands Elopement and this is their story.
Jack and Jade are two talented wedding photographers themselves, who also share a passion for travel and landscapes. It only seemed natural that their day was set within the beautiful landscape of the highlands. What I enjoy most about elopements or intimate weddings is that it allows a lot of focus to be on what truly matters, whether that be the love that two people share, or the people who have joined them, without the distractions of a big event.
Tucked away in a cabin in the hills, they prepared for their day with their siblings and closest friends. After an emotional first look, they headed back to the cabin for an outdoor ceremony along the river. It was filled with love, laughs and not without a few tears. The rest of the day saw us through the stunning hills and valleys of Glencoe. With the weather and light on our side, the day seemed almost end-less. Scotland is such a captivating place, and it was even more so being able to share it with these two.
A special thank you for partner Ash for second shooting.
